I am very surprised with how the Pac-12 has carried themselves the last couple years. This year, the Pac-12 went 1-8 in their bowl games. To me, this is crazy. As a USC fan, I was disgusted in the Cotton Bowl, but I wasn't surprised. Darnold is a very wishy-washy QB. He has his incredible games and he has his games where he looks like he already plays for the Browns. Watching Darnold on the sideline during the Cotton Bowl had me realize that the Pac-12 players are carrying themselves like they're all hot shit. In history, this conference has power-houses. This year, every team got their shit pushed in when it actually mattered. I am not a very big NCAAF fan unless it comes to USC or Nevada, so I don't know much else going on in the sport. Personally, the Pac-12 needs to rise to the top again soon, or else NCAAF will be dead on the west coast. The same dozen or so schools are the best every year, and none of them are in the West. Yes, USC has incredible history, Oregon was a great school for a few years, and Stanford is up there every few years, but as of late there is no consistency.
